La mujer, víctima del lenguaje tradicional y del inclusivo
Un estudio de la visibilidad de la mujer en el lenguaje tradicional y el inclusivo
Författare
Summary, in English
This paper studies the visibility of women in inclusive language, compared to the traditional
language which is defended by the Real Academia Española. The lack of representation of
persons of female gender in articles about the Covid-19 disease in the newspaper El País is
problematized, as well as the effect a change of gender morpheme would have on said
representation. This paper suggests the use of both male and female grammatical genders as
the only way to achieve female visibility in the Spanish language.
